To answer the obvious immediate question: NO, the colors are NOT enhanced. The sunrise began so subtly, just faint colors trying to escape from behind the clouds. As the sun gained some altitude (it never achieves more than about 30 degrees in the winter), the colors intensified, and intensified, and... Then, finally, I could also see this natural arch, and the frothy waves painted ever so lightly by the sun and atmosphere.
